WMS Students recently submitted essays in the Daughters of the American Revolution Essay Contest. The topic for this year's contest was "A Colonial Family's Reaction to the Stamp Act". The 8th Grade students swept the county by taking all 3 of the top placements. Paiton Walker took 1st Place, with Emily Spendlove 2nd and Madison Moore 3rd. Colin Ames also took 3rd Place in the 6th Grade category. Congratulations to all of the participants and winners!
